The goal of the Finance and Enabling Environment Action Group (FAEE AG) is to collaboratively advance the identification and deployment of financial instruments that can help to scale climate finance in cities. In addition, this action group aims to strengthen regulatory/policy frameworks to boost climate finance for cities. In doing so, this action group helps bridge the supply and demand for subnational infrastructure projects and highlights the role of key stakeholders (like national governments, national development banks, MDBs), who can strengthen enabling environments.
This new report explores how climate and urban challenges could be addressed in tandem to set African cities on a path of prosperity and sustainable long-term development.

CCFLA’s Project Preparation Action Group (PPAG) and Finance and Enabling Environment Action Group (FAEE AG) invite interested members and external organizations to join thematic sessions that will include guest speakers and engaging panel discussions.
