Project Preparation has been defined, in 2015, by CCFLA, as one of its top five priorities to localize climate finance, and, consequently, as the thematic focus of the 2017-2018 CCFLA workplan. At the occasion of COP 23 the CCFLA is organizing the first ever urban and subnational Project Preparation Practitioners’ Forum and networking event” aiming at building bridges and encourage partnerships among practitioners in order to obtain sufficient financing for each stage of project preparation for SDG11 and local climate action implementation.
