Project Bank for the Green and Resilient Cities Program (PCVR)

Brazil has made significant progress in recent years in mobilizing resources to prepare its cities for climate change mitigation and adaptation, with initiatives such as the development of the Climate Plan and the strengthening of the Climate Fund. Nevertheless, the demand for urban projects continues to grow. In this context, the Project Bank emerges as a strategic initiative to consolidate, in a unified national list, projects at different stages of development that contribute to sustainable urban solutions, increasing their visibility and facilitating access to financing and technical assistance.

The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, in partnership with the Cities Climate Finance Leadership Alliance (CCFLA) and the University of Brasília, is developing the Project Bank for the Green and Resilient Cities Program (PCVR).
