CCFLA and its members will be hosting and speaking at several events during  2026 London Climate Action Week (LCAW),  taking place from 20-28 June 2026.

Thriving in a Warming World: Improving Climate Intelligence for Resilient Global Cities

Organized by CCFLA, CPI, CCAG, CDRI, Global Heat Health Information Network, CEEW, and The Greenprint, this roundtable will bring together key practitioners and funders to collectively consider extreme heat risk in South Asia, assess solutions, organize priorities, and provide critical insight for decision makers to consider when financing heat and health resilience.

In a coordinated effort to bridge the gap between knowledge and implementation, this roundtable will focus on platforms for collective learning and coordinated action, and also robust, decision-ready climate intelligence systems.

CPI’s Pallavi Sherikar will moderate and CCFLA’s Kristiina Yang and Hamza Abdullah will participate in the roundtable.

 


2026 CCFLA Annual Assembly

Organized by the Cities Climate Finance Leadership Alliance, the 2026 CCFLA Assembly will bring together policymakers, investors, financial institutions, and city leaders to explore practical pathways for scaling urban climate finance, with a focus on unlocking greater private sector participation and strengthening cities’ roles in global financial systems.

Held during London Climate Action Week, the Assembly will include a members-only session focused on technical discussions and updates on CCFLA’s 2025–2030 strategy, followed by a public event examining the role of de-risking in mobilizing private capital for urban climate priorities. The day will close with a networking reception for the urban community.


Challenge Session: Bridging Cities and Capital: financing urban climate resilience

CCFLA’s Priscilla Negreiros will moderate the “Challenge Session: Bridging Cities and Capital: financing urban climate resilience,” convened in partnership with FCDO, BMZ, and the C40 Cities Finance Facility to explore solutions for strengthening climate resilience financing in vulnerable cities worldwide.

This session is part of the high-level summit , London Climate Finance Resilience Summit organized by the International Institute for Environment and Development. The summit brings together heads of state, senior government ministers, finance and business leaders, and civil society representatives to explore how to scale effective finance for climate resilience.
