WUF10: World Urban Forum 2020
On 12th February, Cities Climate Finance Leadership Alliance (Alliance) members will partake in a side event at WUF10 on the topic of ‘A Finance Alliance to project preparation: How to transform ideas into bankable projects.’ The session seeks to explore how stronger engagement between the supply and demand sides of climate finance investment can better facilitate project preparation for critical urban infrastructure projects. The event will take place from 12:30 - 13:30 in Hall 2, Room 8 at the conference venue.
This high-level panel session will be organised and moderated by the Alliance Secretariat on behalf of its Project Preparation Action Group, and will feature participants from C40 Climate Finance Facility, ICLEI, GIZ, Meridiam, World Bank, and others.
Convened by UN-Habitat since 2001, the World Urban Forum is the foremost international gathering for exchanging views, ideas, and experiences on sustainable urban development. The tenth session will be held in Abu Dhabi from February 8-13th, 2020.
